The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity is a 2D side-scrolling game (i.e., platformer) in which players guide either a boy or a girl to an appointed place for a date. Players mostly run through levels and avoid obstacles to reach the city pier on time. The young boy or girl can "rail slide" into people, which causes them to shrink and bounce off the screen. In one cutscene, a pirate character mentions the liquor grog as the drink pirates consume.
