The Nightshift Code is a seek-and-find adventure game in which players assist a central character in solving a mystery surrounding his father's disappearance. Players are prompted to find lists of items from static scenes in order to move the story along. Comic book-style panels depict larger plot pieces: one panel depicts gunmen shooting at the main characters, while another shows a man physically threatening another.
