Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad is an action horror game in which players control scantily clad female heroines as they battle waves of zombies. The female characters fight in thongs, leather skin suits, tiny bikinis, and other skimpy outfits that reveal cleavage and posterior areas. Bouncing breasts and use of camera pans along body parts are depicted frequently. Fighting is fast-paced and frenetic, as the bikini slayers slash and stab numerous zombies in cemeteries, churches, and town halls. Chainsaws, shotguns, and katana blades are used to decapitate and dismember zombies whose severed body parts are scattered throughout the environment. Blood often gushes with a fountain effect when zombies are attacked. Profanity (e.g., "sh*t" and "b*tch") is heard in the dialogue and on-screen text of the story.
