Yggra Union is a strategy role-playing game in which players lead an army of humans and creatures to reclaim a kingdom from an evil empire. Combat is two-dimensional and turn-based, taking place on different sized grids. Thematic story elements include depictions of suicide and self-sacrifice. Female characters are sometimes dressed in provocative outfits that reveal substantial amounts of cleavage (e.g., one female character holds narrow feathers/wings that cover her breasts). The names and description of armor and equipment are also occasionally suggestive (e.g., "Seductive Bustier: Sexy red bustier decorated with white lace"). Expletives such as "bastard," "hell," and "b * * ch" are used throughout the dialogue.
