Monster Quest is a puzzle game in which players assume the role of a scientist who determines the validity of 'monster sightings' from around the world. Players solve various puzzle games (e.g., seek-and-find and 'spot the difference'), while gathering and analyzing evidence (e.g., a bloodied bandage) that will confirm or deny the existence of such creatures as the kraken, werewolves, and Bigfoot. Investigations and journal entries provide detailed accounts of creature attacks and encounters. An alcoholic beverage (ale) is depicted in some scenes.
