This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a detective (Takayuki Yagami) investigating a murder. From a third-person perspective, players explore urban environments, question suspects, search for evidence, and fight various gang members. Players can engage in street fights with other characters, mostly punching and kicking enemies in order to deplete their health meters; some enemies use weapons (e.g., chainsaws, baseball bats) against players during brawls. Combat is highlighted by impact sounds, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. Cutscenes depict more intense instances of violence and blood: players' character beaten while tied to a chair; a restrained man getting his throat slit, accompanied by large blood effects; a rotting corpse bound to a chair. The game contains some sexual material: characters discussing “sugar baby” relationships between young women and older men; discussion about a woman being groped; references to the sex trade/working at sex clubs (e.g., "“You trick women into the sex trade…”; "He told me the quickest way to make it back would be to get a job at a sex club."). One fighting sequence depicts a man with his buttocks exposed. During the course of the game, players can visit bars to purchase drinks and chat with bartenders/hostesses; one mini-game depicts players' character drunk (e.g., “Getting kinda tipsy”; “Too drunk to have a conversation”). The words “f**k” and “sh*t” appear in the dialogue.

Cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: a captive shot in the head; characters beaten until severely bloody; a man repeatedly shot by a crowd; A handful of missions/environments contain sexual themes and content: a man groping a woman's buttocks; a clerk (Men's Entertainment store) asking, “Are you ready to witness the honkiest hooter experience you've ever had…?”; one mission depicts a man with his buttocks fully exposed. During the course of the game, players' character can enter bars/restaurants and drink alcohol, which is rewarded in the form of experience points; players' character has an alcohol-tolerance gauge, resulting in impaired movement and/or access to drunken attacks. This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of Damon Baird, an elite military squad leader who battles an alien threat. As players explore city landscape environments, they use machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, flamethrowers, and grenades to kill aliens and human soldiers in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, explosions, and large splashes of blood. Some attacks result in dismemberment or decapitations (e.g., chainsaw-like weapons used to slice creatures in half; enemies' heads severed with bayonet/blade attachments on weapons); body parts and bloodstains can be seen on the ground. Intense acts of violence also include finishing moves performed on weakened enemies, as players have the ability to punch or stomp on an enemy's head until it breaks apart. The words "f**k," "sh*t," and "a*shole" can be heard in the dialogue.

This is a strategy game in which players engage in turn-based card battles on a grid-like playing field. Players take turns selecting cards to summon fantastical creatures (e.g., dragons, elves, ninjas, dwarves, witches, giant lizards) on a game board. Creatures use magic spells, axe strikes, and sword slashes to attack enemy units on the board; card characters disappear in a plume of purple light when defeated (i.e., when their life points reach zero). Still-frame cutscenes add a dark tone to the relatively minimal depictions of violence; for example, "the tremors of earth soaked in the Children of Earth in blood." The text also contains the expletives "damn" and "hell" and a direct reference to alcohol (e.g., a "Drunken Demolition" card reads, "I wish I drowned to death in a sea of liquor"); one character is depicted with a lit cigar in his hand and mouth. Some cards depict female monsters—grey demon-like figures—in skin tight outfits that expose large amounts of cleavage. |

Castlevania Judgment is a one-on-one fighting game in which players can control the characters from the Castlevania games. Characters use weapons such as whips, swords, and magic during fights. Combat is generally human on human, though some characters are depicted as monsters, vampires or skeletons. Some special moves involve off-screen impalement, explosions, and an iron maiden-like device. Females are depicted in tight clothes, with exaggerated proportions, cleavage, and breast jiggle. Some of the taunts contain suggestive dialogue (e.g., "Man or woman – no one can satisfy me," "Like it when I touch you there?"). Also, one female character is concerned about the size of her breasts, and often makes comments about it (e.g., "Even the vampire's are bigger than mine!"). |
