The Alters

The Alters is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, and Violence. This is a survival-adventure game in which players assume the role of a stranded astronaut (Jan Dolski) who creates clones of himself to escape a strange planet. Players collect resources, expand their stations, and monitor several aspects of each clone's activities. One still-screen sequence depicts a figure cutting off the arm of another; the severed arm is later seen lying in a pool of blood. One sequence depicts two characters drinking a hallucinogenic tea and discussing its effects; the screen becomes distorted with psychedelic colors; a beer pong mini-game includes audio of characters drinking the contents. The word “f**k” appears in the game.
