The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of students caught in a civil war. As players explore dungeons, they use swords, bows, spears, and magic to defeat fantasy creatures (e.g., slime drones, mechanized armor, large insects) and enemy soldiers in turn-based combat. Realistic gunfire and large explosions accompany battle sequences. Cutscenes contain additional acts of violence and depictions of blood: an unconscious man lying in a pool of blood; a man bleeding from a wound in his chest; a man dying in a large explosion. The game contains some suggestive material: female characters in revealing outfits that expose their buttocks; dialogue that references breast size (e.g., “...[Y]our boobies are pretty big already”; “How'd you even luck out with boobs that big?”). Players sometimes encounter characters that smoke cigarettes and consume alcohol (e.g., “Beer me again, Margot!”; “Maybe I should haul a few barrels of beer on board for when I need a pick-me-up.”). The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” are heard in dialogue.
