This is a hidden-object adventure game in which players follow along to Shakespeare's narration of Romeo and Juliet. Players solve puzzles and search for specific items on screens filled with jumbled objects to advance the storyline. Some sequences depict brief instances of violence: two characters dueling with swords—small traces of blood appear on one character's face and another's shirt. The dialogue and narration also reference violent acts (e.g., "He stabs him mid-chest, a mortal wound" and "He puts the poison to his lips . . . then a gentler death shall save him from the throes of life."). The storyline sometimes contains suggestive situations and references (e.g., "After a night that could have gone for ever, Romeo hears larks heralding the day. . . " and "[S]pringing forth from star-crossed loins. . ."). Among the dozens of hidden items in the game, a bottle of brandy is included as a collectable item; brandy is later used as a potion's ingredient. The word "damn" appears in dialogue.
