Players control a wily dog and private detective named Sam in this whimsical 'point-and-click' adventure game. As players attempt to rescue their partner Max, they will encounter several irreverent characters and hear jokes with suggestive and slapstick references: 'So, uh . . . looks like you and Lincoln had an, err, eventful honeymoon'; 'It's like lying in a puddle of carnival vomit'; 'Can I get you a magazine or something?' (as a chicken strains to lay an egg). In one scene, a character briefly mentions that he just 'poured himself another fifth of pineapple schnapps.' Throughout the game, a large monster can be seen attacking a city, and a few sequences depict oversized guns being pointed at characters. The words 'a*s' and 'damn' can be heard in the dialogue.
